I discovered that there was a PES 2016 demo and so i downloaded it. My friend pointed out to me when we were playing the 2015 demo, that 2016 should have one too. Well stupid me had forgotten that i downloaded this demo a long time ago and played it a little bit. Now, you're probably wondering why the hell am i critiquing PES 2015 vs FIFA 16. This is relaistic in one sense but annoying in another. Also the crowd looks awful, even worse than FIFA and it's pretty dreadful in FIFA 16.Īlso, I feel that it was a nuisance that formations were slightly limited in the sense that, if i had 3 CMF's in my team and the most attractive formation to me contained 2 DMF'S and one CMF the players overalls were affected greatly. It's not! The fact that if I want to play as Everton or Chelsea, i can't, I play as Merseyside Blue or London Blue, is ridiculous. However that is not to say that PES won me over or is a perfect game.
It was much better from what i could see in front of me. It was great, the gameplay was far better than FIFA 16 and so were the graphics of the players. This is something that could never happen in FIFA, due to the fact that unless you're facing the goal and have a HUGE amount of space, you're not going to score.Īll I could get a feel of was the gameplay, due to the fact that all the demo contained was an exhibition mode, as i expected. The shooting was fantastic too, strikers who possessed great skill were able to finish with their back to the goal and turn when i shot. I downloaded PES 2015 and I loved it! I LOVED IT! The gameplay is MILES ahead of FIFA, the passing is much more fluent and given that the passing in FIFA 16 is absolutely dreadful this won in my book. So, this year i decided to play the demo for PES just to play something different for once. At this point its around this time of year (March at the time of writing) and i'm beginning to get sick of the game. However, I always end up getting really bored of being able to take some League 2 team to the Champions League and smash Barcelona in the final.

What football fan doesn't think they know everything about football and clearly know better than their club's manager? We all know who should be signed and sold because we're geniuses! I love career mode, it puts me into the managers shoes and it's a simulator for the managerial ideas that are clearly better than the idiot in control of my club in real life. Then i will play all of the games various modes enjoyably until i get sick of each one and then resort to my favourite mode and exclusively playing that 1 mode, career mode. I will buy the new FIFA, think its amazing with it's entire 5 noticeable changes to the game since last year (12 months of development and thats it?!), simply because it is different (although only slightly) from the last one i've been playing for the past year.
I haven't always bought the new FIFA every single year until recently, where i will go through the same cycle. Then when i got an Xbox i bought FIFA 09 and since then i've exclusively played FIFA not out of disrespect for PES, it was just the football game everyone talked about and it was what i got used to. I played PES years ago on my Playstation 2 back when you could use cheats to make invisible walls and even a beach ball (lots of fun!).
